Through six thrilling aerial performances, some of Nashville’s finest up-and-coming circus artists explore different responses to the Fortunes & Fates theme while spotlighting their best skills. This year’s aerial showcase includes work on silks, hammock, lyra, trapeze, and even some ground-based contortion work, with adventurous pieces that portray experiences of love, community, isolation, whimsy, grief, mystery, and more. Combining spectacle and personal expression, this series of short performances provokes questions and reflections about the choices we each make and each of our own destinies.
