Who gets to decide what is considered taboo? In their latest high-flying spectacle, Suspended Gravity confronts the concept head-on with one of the world’s most outsider art forms: the circus. This all-new production from the dynamic aerial and circus company combines Suspended Gravity’s signature gravity-defying feats, astounding acrobatics, and sensational burlesque with powerful statements that explore the importance of free expression for all. As we press on in a country that has woven definitions of “taboo” acts into our everyday lives – often without our consent – Suspended Gravity takes to the dazzling aerial circus tent stage to highlight voices from the margins. An exhilarating combination of physicality, creation, and freedom, TABOO celebrates the sacred in what has been deemed profane.
