Join some of Nashville’s most exciting choreographers on a journey exploring physical, emotional, and spiritual limits – and the power of breaking through perceived limits to achieve full potential. In group pieces, Melissa Miller toes the line between artistic success and failure, Emily Rizo Davis examines the limitations of mainstream corporate America, and Kourtney “Koko” French shares the limitless power found in a spirit of gratitude and self-actualization. With intimate solo works, Sandy Perez provides a glimpse into her experience as a first-generation American, Amanda Reichert mines the depth of deeply personal emotions, and Alexandra Winer explores the physical limitations of the multitudes one body can contain. Together, these six dance pieces create an inspiring and introspective evening of dance, challenging us all to find the expansive power within.
